Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel has rooms with a very strong musty mildew smell and paint peeling, but once inside, you can't hear noise. The room was nice overall, although music woke us at 4 am. The air conditioning is old-fashioned and noisy, keeping the rooms in a frosty state.
The hotel's location in Belize City is excellent, right on the harbor promenade and convenient to the water taxi terminal. The rooms were ample and comfortable, but the sleep number bed was the MOST uncomfortable I have EVER, EVER slept on. The service was top-notch, especially Shakira, who was attentive and caring. The dining experience at the Celebrity Restaurant was directly delicious. A great value for the price, but the hotel needs refurbishment to command the high price.
The hotel offered a spacious and clean room, though it could do with a bit of an update. The service was a blend of super helpful and somewhat lacking in friendliness at times. The location was suitable for quick transit but not up to certain expectations. The dining experience in the St George's Restaurant showcased fresh Mediterranean dishes. Overall, a mixed but worthwhile stay.
